How They Met
Niti shares, “We met in India when Aditya who was based in Canada was visiting his family. A mutual family relative introduced us and we just hit it off! We dated for four years and in the second year of our relationship, I planned a surprise proposal for Aditya.”

Wedding Planning
In an unconventional move, the duo eschewed including a wedding planner in their plans and managed to orchestrate the wedding with the help of their loved ones. However, both, Niti and Aditya were keen on capturing the spirit of their celebrations in the most authentic way possible. For this, they roped in Happyframes who left them impressed. Niti shares, “Imagine a wedding where your every moment is captured perfectly. Happyframes did that for us! The team was so warm and took every request to completion. They truly made our dream wedding come to life. The team was very professional and punctual even in this city of traffic – Mumbai! Wedding Functions
Haldi
A backdrop of yellow marigolds that were accentuated by white blooms made the haldi pics look vibrant. The couple entered with their friends setting off color bombs and then, had a fun time as they were slathered with a mixture of turmeric. Mehndi
The couple’s mehndi celebration was a very close-knit affair using the same setup they used for haldi. The bride wore a bright pink salwar kameez set which ensured she looked stunning while keeping it comfy. Aditya, on the other hand, donned an ombre leheriya print kurta.

Wedding
Niti shares, “We wanted our wedding to be close-knit, subtle and elegant. And, at every turn, we firmly adhered to these factors – right from the wedding jewellery, and the outfits that my mother-in-law designed to the decor. The vision for this function was fairytale-like minimalistic decor. We generously used white blooms, and warm-toned white lights and chose a simple mandap design with a transparent acrylic floor. We aimed to create a warm and cozy environment for the people closest to us to celebrate this exceptional occasion.”
