<h4 style=""><a href="http://juniorhighlosangeles.com" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Junior High</a> is a non-profit community space in Los Angeles, California. We prioritize the safety and expression of marginalized artists through events and arts education.&nbsp;We function as a gallery, venue, shop, and event space. Plus, we have an online&nbsp;<a href="http://juniorhighla.com/themag" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Publication</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="http://juniorhighla.com/podcast" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Podcast</a>.</h4><h4 style=""></h4>Physical spaces are expensive. Publications are, too. It costs us $5,175/month to stay open (and that's just rent!) We also have utility bills, supplies and LABOR. With enough monthly support, we can release the burden of making enough money from our event programming. This will free up the calendar for events with smaller (but just as important) draws and will allow us to PAY our contributors, curators, and volunteers far more than our current structure allows. Lunch Bestie Tier

On the last day of camp we exchanged phone numbers and promised we’d call each other every day, write letters every week, meet up in each other’s towns before Summer starts again…and we did! On top of everything in the first tier, you will also receive a monthly gift mailed directly to your door and a recording of our Junior High curator in conversation with each of our exhibiting artists.

Camp Penpal Tier

At this point we’re having dinner at each other’s houses every other day because Trigonometry is impossible and French is like a whole other language. Luckily we have each other’s backs and staying up all night doesn’t feel quite so bad with you. On top of everything in the above tiers, you will also receive a personalized membership card that lets you into 3 free events*** per month AND 25% off all Junior High branded merchandise. Study Buddy Tier 

I remember the first time I saw you walk into homeroom. Your hair was windswept, your eyes were sparkling, and your shoes…were untied. I doodled our names inside all my notebooks and wrote your name in every game of MASH I played. On top of everything in the above tiers, you will also receive an invitation to our annual board dinner and an annual gift wrapped present from all of us at Junior High to you.
