ACEN 004 sees Lisbon based artist BLEID follow up her standout split EP with Violet (via her Naive imprint) with a two track release on All Centre.

Title track Sidewinder begins with a pulsating kick and sliding synth, which fluctuates lightly across a slight tonal range. This is soon accompanied by squelching sounds and driving high hats, with toms and woodpecker percussion adding to the tension further down the line. After reaching a climactic point the tension dissipates away to its key drums elements and a winding melody moves it’s way across the stereo field. As the track develops synths continues to jump between octaves and timbres fluctuate, keeping the listeners ear engaged and feet moving.

Not That Hard offers up a powerful contrast to it’s serpent like partner, centring around energetic percussion and foggy atmospheres to create a track that’s as likely to disorientate you as it is to keep you dancing. Throughout the track marching snare drums propel the beat forward whilst searing FX fire off in every direction.

Sidewinder is available across all platforms from the 1st of February.
