Description
NFCtron provides a payment system for concerts, festivals and other one-time events. The new mobile app allows visitors to load a chip onto their mobile phone, track their spending and balance, rate their orders and get a free refund of unused credit within 14 days of the event.
The app will now allow you to purchase tickets for new events, including the ability to reload chip credit or other add-on purchases, and we have other enhancements in the works to improve your event experience. The experience of paying is no longer the music of the future.

What’s New
Version 2.1.0
One week after the major update of the NFCtron app with the ability to purchase tickets and top up credit directly from the mobile app, we are coming up with a package of first fixes and improvements.
→ We like Slovakia so much that we used to show Slovak events among Czech ones. We've fixed that now, so the app has seen the actual split of Czechoslovakia into two countries, but they're still just a click away. To view events in Slovakia, just switch the country.
→ We've improved the user experience when tracking orders. We've added the ability to quickly reload to the main screen. You no longer need to open a document in the transaction detail to see what the order contained.
→ We fixed loading new chips into the app and removing them.
→ We added the ability to open the chip overview on the web as well. Just click on the chip ID. But we believe this will never be needed.
→ We've improved the text of error messages, notifications and alerts so that you're always in the loop and know what's going on.
→ And as much as we recommend using the latest version of iOS, we've fixed the occasional app crashes on iOS 16.

Causes extra hassle and extra fees without any added benefits
This app was compulsory for attendance into the lovestream festival. Was charged 4 extra euros for our family due to activation fees. The whole idea and concept is flawed. Adds extra convolution and hassle and adds no benefits. Exists solely to get more of your money. Still requires topping up by credit card so it is really just an additional piece of technology that is a barrier between you, the vendors, and your debit card. Offers no added convenience. Only hassle and frustration.
Disaster
The app is horrible. Scan of the chip works very badly, you can try multiple times with no luck. Why the heck do you need to stand in a queue and pay fee for the wristband activation - it is not innovative at all. Your balance is updated pretty slowly. If the festival had only cards payments, it would be 1000x times better than this “innovative” crap.
