The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990 by President George H.W. Bush.
Join us as we discuss the particular advantages and challenges of the opportunities for individuals with disabilities. In a variety of career professionals and living experiences, with reflections from Jill Houghton, Andy Imparato and Andrea Jennings.
Learn disability inclusion best practices so each of you can become more understanding, accommodating, and comfortable in any situation working with or alongside individuals with disabilities.
We encourage you participate in the conversation, ask questions and make comments! Change happens through ‘uncomfortable conversations’.
In the words of Robert Hensel, "There is no greater disability in society than the inability to see a person as more."
The discussion on YouTube has closed captioning however the chat will not be monitored during the live chat.
See you there.
Cheers,
