Pratt Whitney Road from Corporate Road N. to Indiantown Road will be closed starting Tuesday, February 6, 2024 with 24 hour closure until the road is restored. Traffic will be detoured via Bee Line Highway and Indiantown Road with traffic allowed both east and west. Pratt Whitney Road will be open north of Indiantown Road.

The Pratt Whitney Road closure is necessary in order for Palm Beach County Engineering and Public Works (EPW) to repair a total of eight underground corrugated metal pipe (CMP) drainage pipes which allow for Environmental Resources Management (ERM) wetlands water to flow from the west to the east. ERM is aware of the drainage pipe repair and are handling the dewatering permits so EPW can replace both CMP pipes. The scope of this project consists of four separate repair locations with two pipes each to complete within the Pratt Whitney roadway. Duration of the project is projected to be approximately six to eight weeks.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank the community for patience and understanding as we complete the repairs as quickly and safely as possible.
