PARADE DAY INFORMATION:

Sunday, March 3, 2024

12pm Gather at 43rd St. x Skillman Ave. in Sunnyside, Queens (look for the cargo bike trailer loaded with garden tools). There will be music and remarks form public officials from the stage.

1pm, parade steps off

The parade ends at 58th St. x Woodside Ave. (only 0.8 miles)

How would you like to participate? Everyone is encouraged to dress in theme (ie. overalls, butterfly wings, etc). Rainbows are always popular and don't forget to wear GREEN for St. Pat's sake!

Banner Carriers: lead our group and carry a banner, pull a wagon with supplies.

Clean Team: We will have gloves, trash pickers and garbage bags for you to quickly remove trash as our super steward cru turns the march into an anti-litter, tree care event

Tiller Team: We will have hand cultivators and trowels for you to loosen and aerate the soil as we go.

Seed Team: We will have some native flower seeds for you to plant in the freshly tilled soil

Color Guard: Get the onlookers pumped about stewardship. Dress to impress, think rainbow pride butterflies. Bring your juggling, stilts, unicycle and other circus acts into the street with us.

Support Team: Marching with the group. Willing to help out if other folks need a little break from their chosen tasks.
