We receive aid requests from students with a variety of experiences and backgrounds. At the SYC, we aim to replicate these shared experiences through our members. How will your positionality (privilege and/or oppression/marginalization) inform how you think about mutual aid and providing students with aid?

Which teams are you interested in joining? *
Accounting - manages the money going in/out, updates the transparency spreadsheet, sends requests to the Evaluation team
Evaluation - decides how much money to allocate to each aid request that comes in
Social Media - runs the Instagram page (including creating content), monitors the Facebook group
Fundraising - helps fundraise for the Collective by coming up with new ideas & implementing them
Research - researches other mutual aid groups and best practices for mutual aid groups

Please provide a couple times that you are generally free and could meet with two SYC members for an informal interview! (It may take us more than a week to reach out and actually schedule an interview)
