Event description

Are you looking for a way to start the new year with clear goals and intention?

Join us for our vision board workshop in January! Not only will you learn more about the Survivor Hub support groups, but you'll also have the opportunity to build community with other people impacted by sexual assault in an informal, fun, and creative way.

A vision board is a tool that can help you visualise your goals and dreams, and it's a great way to kickstart your year. By creating a vision board, you'll be able to focus on what you want to achieve and how you want to feel. Vision boards can be created digitally on your laptop through apps like Canva that can saved on your desktop or phone or Ipad home screen or physically on a base of your choice like a cork boards etc.

We'll provide magazines, glue, scissors and A3 Paper.

Please bring with you a journal or notepad, snacks to share, water bottle, the base of your choice and pins etc that you might need and any special images, items or magazines you might like to use or share.

And an open mind and a willingness to explore your aspirations!

In addition to creating your vision board, you'll have the chance to learn more about the Survivor Hub support groups in Gosford. These support groups offer a safe and supportive space for survivors of sexual assault to connect with others who have had similar experiences. By participating in our workshop, you'll be taking the first step towards building a strong and resilient community of survivors.

Who am I?

I'm Renee Marie Simpson - I'm a victim-survivor advocate, local author of I Want To Go Home - Reclaiming Power After Sexual Assault and facilitator for Survivor Hub Support MeetUps. I work for local government in youth development co-designing creative solutions with young people to support their needs and aspirations.

I look forward to meeting you!
