A COLLABORATION OF

Brought to You by Our Coalition of Frontline Communities

For the lead-up to Earth Day 2023, Front and Centered is partnering with Rainier Avenue Radio and Social Justice Film Festival once more to present a week-long program of events!

Our “Earth Deserves More Than a Day” program will highlight our coalition members’ commitment to climate justice. Join us throughout the week for an exciting schedule of both in-person and virtual events showcasing the local and global efforts of our frontline communities to defend and honor Mother Earth, including:

  • social justice films;
  • radio interviews;
  • kitchen table conversations with the community featuring special guests;
  • live and virtual panel discussions; and
  • a multimedia exhibit at the theater.

We’ll end the week with a community mixer and film showing on Friday, April 21, where you’ll also be able to get an update on our 2023 legislative agenda as well as a preview of various Earth Day events happening across the state.

All in-person events are free and welcome to the public at Seattle’s Columbia City Theater at 4916 Rainier Ave S. However, you must RSVP for the special events on Wednesday and Friday evenings (see below)!
