The Tryals releases latest album ‘I Am Death’

Forced to come to terms with grief and loss, Chicago metal band The Tryals brings us their new album ‘I Am Death’. Hoping others will find comfort in confronting this topic, ‘I Am Death’ takes us through denial and isolation, anger, bargaining, depression and finally acceptance. ‘I Am Death’ was self produced and recorded in their Chicago studio.  

The Tryals are formed by Chris Hennessey and Lars Heemskerk, both former members of pop-core band FIVEOHfirst. Realizing their shared passion for metal after the disbanding of FIVEOHfirst, they set about creating a new band in 2018. ‘I Am Death’ follows on from the successful release of their first album ‘Demonize’ which tells the story of a man struggling to face his internal demons.
