found this to be incredibly moving. considers the value of a person’s face and words with as much care and precision as the paintings that adorn the museum walls that surround them. the long stretches here that create portraits of Vienna and Viennan life have such a depth of feeling, such a level of authenticity in capturing the art of the average life that passes us by. art is all around us if you’re paying attention, and i think that’s the most beautiful thing in the world
