Mid lemon yellow, with grapey yellow fruit on the nose. Excellent density, still quite rich and ripe in fruit style, but with an electric energy at the back.

All domaine fruit now, from Les Chevalières, Luraule. Pelles, Casses Têtes, Petits Charrons. Pale to medium lemon yellow. A generous bouquet speaking clearly of Meursault. A broad bench of ripe white apple fruit with excellent energy, good acidity behind, and notable persistence. Very Meursault and quite delicious.

Clos Richemont 2022
White | JM 92-95
Mid lemon yellow with a lime streak. The bouquet is sultry. Straight on the rocks – “when you plough, it really makes a noise”. The wine on the palate is much more clean cut yet with significant opulence as well. All in white fruit, quite oaky for the moment but all in harmony. The saline finish keeps the freshness.

Domaine Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Mouchere 2022
White | JM 95-97, 5-Star
Mid yellow, with a biscuity touch. Seems unsubtle until you get to the palate which is super powerful but also with subtlety. This Monopole vineyard comprises four distinct terroirs though they are always assembled. An electric backbone stops the power overturning the balance. Yellow fruit, and then an extraordinary, indeed grand cru, weight. Incisive white fruit finish.

Domaine Henri Boillot Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2022
White | JM 93-96
Mostly Aloxe with a touch of Pernand. Quite a full lemon yellow. The bouquet offers a balanced ripeness, with flinty notes more than opulent fruit. This Corton-Charlemagne shows very lively, white fruit, a little citrus, river bed minerals behind, and excellent persistence. Lots of crunch to finish.
