Sup gang! Mike here with Adobo bringing you the latest and greatest on this month's events!

The Scoop:

Sold-Out First Kamayan Dinner!
We had such a blast last month hosting our first-ever Kamayan dinner! We sold out of tickets for both seatings and made wayyy too much food, but we're so glad that our guests enjoyed the experience. We can't wait to host our next one! Thank you to all who came out, and keep an eye out for our next Kamayan dinner event!

Pop-Ups and Catering
This month is just bursting with pop-ups and events every weekend! This Sunday August 7 we're participating in the first Adobo Tasting League hosted by Estrellita and Sweet Cheats ATL. This will be a non-profit fundraising event supporting women in culinary fields, and will feature us and four other contestants showcasing our favorite dish- adobo! There will be a judging panel and a chance for you to vote for YOUR favorite adobo! We can't wait for it and hope y'all will be able to join us. Grab your tickets here!

On Saturday August 13 we'll be hosting a V special collab dinner pop-up with Barangay and Seven Fingers Baked Goods, here at Adobo Kitchen! We're crafting up a banger menu, so stay tuned for the drop!

And coming up later this month on Saturday August 27, we'll be participating in our first local International Festival! The Cobb County International Festival will be hosted at Jim Miller Park in Marietta and is sure to be a good time!

Filipino Fun Fact
Premiering this weekend is Easter Sunday starring Jo Koy! A few of us in the local Filipino community had the opportunity to see an advance showing of the film this week and it was HILARIOUS! The themes and story definitely hit home for me, and I'm proud to see a Filipino-American cast on the big screen. It's definitely worth checking out!
