Your Vote, Our Planet

Election Day in the United States is coming up on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7 so we wanted to ask you to take one of the single most important climate actions an individual can take: VOTE!

There are many impactful actions individuals can take to fight the climate crisis including decarbonizing their lives and homes, shifting to an increasingly plant-based diet and reducing food waste, and avoiding fast-fashion. But collective action, especially in the form of government leadership, is crucially important to create and enforce the systemic changes that are needed to avoid the worst possible outcomes of a warming planet.

WE STILL HAVE HOPE. WE STILL HAVE TIME.
NEVER FORGET THAT.

But we don’t have an infinite supply of either. To continue to have hope in this ever-smaller window of time to reverse course on the climate crisis, we need leaders in communities, business, and especially government that recognize climate change is an existential threat that requires serious, urgent, and equitable action.

So as this election day draws near, please register or check your registration, research candidates and issues at every level of government, rally your community, make a plan, and VOTE. Vote for leaders that accept the indisputable scientific consensus that climate change is real. Vote for people that understand that environmental, climate and social issues are inextricably linked. Vote for the candidates who will center the environment among all the other important work they must do. Please vote.
