My parents had it recorded on an old VHS tape and I'd watch it over and over. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Don Williams, The Definitive Collection: Don Williams Guns N' Roses, Use Your Illusion I Steve Earle, Copperhead Road I grew up listening to a lot of different artists. These are three albums that shaped me as a songwriter and as an artist, in one way or another. Country music made me want to be a better writer; the rock stuff just made me want be on stage. Tell us why you chose this song. “Exes” I've always been really proud of this song - from the writing, to the production. The whole thing has a feeling about it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing the Ryman Auditorium. There's a lot of magic on that stage. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like some more gold records. I've got plenty of wall space.
