1 - Sophioko One (2012)
This is the opening track for my 2012 "Sophioko EP," a 4-track EP created as an exclusive, downloadable extra to accompany a collaboration with Japanese visual artist Naoko Tanaka at Sopiensäle in Berlin in 2012. Available for just 24 hours, the EP could only be downloaded using a QR-Code on your concert ticket. The result was such a unique and charming experience, merging my music with abstract, narrative “shadow puppetry” - that whole project is definitely worth revisiting someday.

2 - September Scab (2014)
This track is from a Japan-exclusive album, "September Tape," released only on Cassette and now long out of print. During that phase, I experimented with creating quasi-cover versions. This track is a faux jazz rendition of A.R. Kane's "Scab," a song of their seminal “69” album which I have always loved. Having just opened the full arrangements of this 2014 material…I think I might have ideas for some 2024 additions.

3 - Oval Live Roskilde (Cut) (2002)
What happens if you put me on the stage of one of Europe's biggest music festivals = onto a gigantic stage, in front of a huge crowd? My 2002 answer: I play the most brash, uncompromising, dense but also most emotionally intense set I could think of – incl. some Jimi Hendrix-esque stuff on the MicrowaveXT. The crowd was too large to gauge a unanimous response, but the set totally worked for me - especially today. For this release, I chose a pretty subdued section of the 52-minute set, but you will get the idea.

Another carefully curated sonic puzzle piece of a larger, ever-evolving momentary museum.
