Essential listening
What can i say… Conan’s interviews with indie recording artists stretching back decades catalogs a history that would likely otherwise be lost. He doesn’t just interview the well known faces, but digs deep with band members whose voices might not have been in the forefront, getting some truly unique perspectives. His conversations with contemporary artists are equally as good, colored by his thoughtful approach and a deep knowledge of indie music history.
Better than good
it is pretty great imo
Agony
Tuned in to hear the talented and never interviewed Steve Bartek. I would think the host would be prepared to guide the guest through a series of questions instead of just winging it. The lack of background knowledge was staggering.
