Self Love, Human Connection, and Finding Beauty in Every Day with special guest Jennifer Norman of The Human Beauty Movement MIDDLE AGEish

    • Self-Improvement

Welcome to the Middle Age(ish) Podcast, hosted by Ashley Bedosky, Lisa Kelly, Dr. Pam Wright, and Trisha Kennedy Roman. In this episode, we speak with Jennifer Norman of The Human Beauty Movement.
Self-love isn't something that comes easily for everyone but is an important part of happiness from within. As we gain age and experience, we begin to realize that there is so much more to beauty than what is "skin deep."

"I work in the beauty industry and in facial aesthetics. Of course, we need to look at outward measurable beauty when we're looking at balance, proportions, and ratios, but I know that beauty is so much more, beauty comes from within. It's not just skin deep, and that's why I just absolutely love this Human Beauty Movement." – Trisha Kennedy Roman
Jennifer Norman gives us a candid view of her story from her early beginnings as a Korean-American adoptee, to her rise in the beauty industry, her relationship challenges as a young adult and into mid-life, the significant medical challenges she has faced with her precious son, and her decision to find beauty within herself, within each day, and the beauty of life.

"Beauty really is so much more felt with the heart than it is seen with the eyes." – Jennifer Norman - founder of The Human Beauty Movement
Jennifer explains how she has changed her mindset and ultimately changed her career path to start a company focused on connecting with one's inner self and those around you. The Human Beauty Movement advocates compassionate self-love, self-care, acceptance, and expression, bringing out the inner beauty in all humans.
