Charmaine Hammond has presented to more than 500,000 people around the world at in person events, and just as many through virtual and online programs. She is an expert in conflict resolution, high pressure communications, difficult conversations and resilience. She started her career as a Correctional Officer in the jail system, this led to Charmaine getting a Masters Degree in Conflict Analysis & Management and becoming certified as a mediator. She opened her dispute resolution and training business in 1997. Her clients have included all three levels of government, companies in the oil and gas sector, telecommunications, education, health, automotive sectors to name a few. Charmaine has done training for Staples, Hyundai, RBC, 78 municipalities, RCMP, Fire and Emergency Services, Nutrien, to name a few.

Charmaine is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP). This is the only earned designation for professional speakers. Only 58 Canadians currently hold this designation for speaking excellence, Charmaine being one of them. This designation signifies exceptional achievement through a proven record of speaking experience. CSPs must meet rigorous requirements for a number of fee-paid presentations, number of clients, continuing education credits and consecutive years of business experience. This designation is granted under the auspices of the Global Speakers Federation (5,000+ members in 27 countries).

What is Speaker Success Training?

It’s a monthly gathering of women speakers of all levels of expertise — from all over the world — who come together with a desire to increase their impact by sharing their message. 

Our Speaker Success Training features global experts who have been specifically selected because of their proven track record in their own speaking and training, as well as an affinity for WSA and our members!

Each training is 90 minutes long, has a LIVE Q&A with the guest training and includes the recording so you can add it to your training library. But plan to be there LIVE as you’ll have access to time-sensitive resources!
