We invited DJ, producer and record collector Gratts to handpick 10 tunes for Tunr. Belgium-born Gratts has been active as a DJ and an avid record collector since 1999. While DJing he ‘delivers an always-expanding, deep-dug repertoire of quality, soul-soaked electronic music that is firmly embedded in house, but not restrained by any categorizations.’
Gratts runs the Brussel and Berlin based Ensemble with Kong, which is a label, event and podcast series. Besides this, he is also one of the producers for Ca$hminus, who released on Bordello A Parigi. Last year he brought out his first EP under his own name called ‘Brighter Future’. Gratts’ newest EP dropped on Italian label Flexi Cuts named ‘Music for the Moon Room Gecko’. He wrote it while stuck in Adelaide in 2020 and added vocals from Brian Ruiz.
In his selection, Gratts included a ‘fantastic Italian / French synth pop track’, a remix from his newest EP and he told us about a couple of records he found in a dollar bin.
