We are excited to feature another one of our fabulous Real WED brides! Look at how absolutely gorgeous Mrs. Emily Vestal looks in her Lillian West gown with an illusion back and delicate lace detail. Her dress features a beautifully draped tulle train with hand placed floral lace throughout. Can’t forget about the amazing delicate Point d’Esprit underlay. Although it was hard to pick just a few, we have selected out a few noteworthy moments sent to us as a courtesy from a 2021 WED bride, Mrs. Emily Vestal.

Tell us all about that new Hubby of yours! How did you guys meet? How did he propose?!

Our story began in Fort Worth, TX thanks to online dating! Coleman and I met on the Bumble app and after a few weeks of chatting back and forth decided to meet up for a date. After a couple months of dating, we both knew we had found “the one”! Coleman asked me to be his wife on May 16, in the living room of my house (which is now our house). It was a casual engagement and couldn’t have been more perfect!

We are absolutely loving the smile on their faces on their wedding day. What a lovely couple they make!

Since you are in the wedding industry and see so many weddings, how was creating a vision that felt unique and personal for you? Where did you get your inspiration from?

My inspiration came from my social butterfly personality and love for fun, bright colors!  I knew I wanted a more mingling style wedding reception. I wanted a fun celebration and I didn’t want everyone sitting down the entire night. I wanted something different that what I had seen in 4 Eleven before so I opted out of doing a head table and chose to do a bridal party lounge, more cocktail tables than round tables and another large lounge area for guests to hangout in.

It’s all about the details no matter how big or small! Here is a quick glance of the gorgeous bouquets chosen and a look at the small details that make up a big part of the wedding day; such as the bride and grooms rings, invitations, and the shoes the bride wore.

Obviously, we are in love with your gown, but how did you know it was the one at the time?

When I tried on my gown for the first time and looked in the mirror I loved it, everything about it was perfect. I knew it was “the one” when I put on the veil and took a stroll around the shop and started crying as I made my way back to the dressing room.

We may have shed a tear or two looking at all the sentimental details you guys put in your wedding! What were some of those small details you were most excited to see come to life?

I decided to deck out the groom’s room area of 4 Eleven with Coleman’s past athletic achievements from high school and Texas Tech, he had no idea I was doing this. It was my surprise to him! Guests who watched Coleman grow up loved reminiscing over his pastimes! He was shocked and embarrassed I did this, but it meant a lot to his family and people he grew up with.

Mrs. Vestal surprised her husband by decorating the grooms’ room with his past athletic achievements for a Texas Tech themed lounge!

What is your best advice you would give to other couples when it comes to their wedding day?

The best advice I have for other couples is to take the time to eat alone before joining your reception. It’s the only time I was able to have, alone, with my groom on our wedding day. Also, don’t stress over the small details, you are the only person who will know if it’s not done correctly. Lastly, when the wedding stress becomes overwhelming, always remember to hug it out, say I love you and remember the true reason you’re planning this wedding!

This bridal lounge is just such a stellar addition for keeping a casual setting at the reception.
