PART 2: Runways to Racks– 2020 Bridal Trends

From Runways to Racks- 2020 Bridal Trends we LOVE!

We are excited to give you guys Part 2 of this series, and to continue sharing what our 2020 brides have been loving! Lets take a look at this next segment of 2020 bridal trends while keeping your dress dreams exciting through these tough times.

To continue our three-part series, let’s take a peek at new fabric uses.

AIRY DRESSES

This year, designers have been giving us the fluff we love without all the thick layers. Airy Dresses have been a huge hit this year. Using different colored layers of lightweight tulle / english netting gives gowns a whimsical, airy look without the stuffiness of traditional tulle or crinoline.

These light and airy dresses can be found in store with Joelle or Bex, both by WToo. Joelle is pictured below with beautiful blush undertones with a trending plunging neckline and low back. Bex is similar in cut, with a horsehair banded hemline, giving it the movement and drape that you didn’t know you needed.

This bridal trend continues as WToo Patterson gives us an airy, cleaner skirt with it’s floral focus on the bodice. Willowby’s Galatea gown includes unique floral appliqué that extends throughout it’s skirt adding texture and personality. Both of these gowns allow you the feel whimsical and free!

THE NEW LACE

This next  bridal trend is for our modern boho bride who’s wedding day includes lots of flowers and scenery, or maybe just loves being unique and different from the rest. “New Takes On Lace” has us falling in love with lace like never before. These unique and detailed fabric designs have strayed away from traditional lace and have embraced the look and feel of art deco.

First up for this bridal trend we have Lis Simon’s Liam gown. Liam is perfect for the modern boho bride while offering a sophisticated silhouette and artsy design. Zoom in on that lace, WOW!

Next we have the NEW WToo Twyla gown! Twyla‘s lace detail speaks for itself with it’s beautiful combination of florals and geometric designs. This gown will steal your heart with it’s sweetheart neckline and bronze undertones.

We love seeing the use of lace in the below Studio Levana gowns. The mix of patterns and lines on June makes for a very flattering silhouette. Cherry is super lightweight with a vintage feel.
