Joyless Bodies

Blending the power of Rage Against The Machine and the Beatlesque melodies of acts like Oasis & Nirvana, with a little flavor of dreamy shoegaze, passing by the darkness of Early 2000s Alternative Metal bands such as System Of A Down. Joyless Bodies has been packaging all of the above under a D.I.Y Punk aesthetic ready for both pits and dance floors since May 2019

The trio spawned on the south shore of Montreal, Quebec as part of the local scene alongside fellow bands including Braindown, Crimson Rivers, The Flair & Legally Blind.
While establishing themselves In early 2020 by releasing their debut EP ‘’A Woeful Call’’ and their follow up the same year ‘’Lost Gaze’’, The band doesn’t like to fit in a box and likes to explore different soundscapes and visual ideas, absurd music videos and jumpsuits are on the card. They Initially formed as Simon Tremblay (Bass Guitar) & William Richard (Guitar/Vocals) yet the pair quickly found their soulmate Samy Chouzenoux (Drums) the same year after a couple of failed relationships with the percussion species. After a small undefined hiatus during the Covid-19 pandemic, the band came back alive and strong to live audiences accompanied with a new single ‘’Blind Encounters’’ In September 2021. The group has since not planned on stopping anytime soon, only the future will define the rest of this story.
