More about Deb Cohen

Business Philosophy

Deb's priority is to ensure your real estate transaction, whether buying, selling, or renting, goes as smoothly as possible. She listens to her customer's wants and needs, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout the process. Her greatest pleasure is finding the right home for her buyer or helping a seller obtain the best price and terms for their home. Real estate transactions can be challenging and emotional at times. Let Deb make the process as easy as possible for you!

Professional Background

Deb joined the real estate world after a long and successful career in finance. She was a finance executive in the insurance industry and later a Chief Financial Officer at one of Connecticut's premier museums. Her financial background lends itself well to pricing analysis for sellers, and her experience with contract negotiation helps both buyers and sellers reach an agreement that they can feel good about.

In addition to Deb's financial experience, she has developed a powerful social media base with her brand "The Front Door Project". What began as a hobby in 2014 has developed into the perfect platform for promoting her home state of Connecticut as well as properties for sale. With over 88,000 followers between Instagram, Facebook, and her blog, her ability to promote your listing is unmatched in the local market. This is in addition to the powerful marketing capabilities offered by Coldwell Banker.

Personal

Deb is a lifelong Connecticut resident. She grew up in South Windsor and so is very familiar with East of the River, and has lived in West Hartford for 25 years. As a result, she has extensive local knowledge of the Farmington Valley as well.

Deb has a special affection for older "vintage" and historic homes with unique and interesting architectural details. She is a Board member of Preservation Connecticut and proudly supports organizations such as the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society. She would love to help you buy or sell one of these special gems.
