After the image found its way online, it quickly went viral with many fans joking it looked like 'when the waiter comes over and says how's your food?'

Another fan joked it looked like 'the photographer took it like a mom taking a photo of her kid'.

Several fans said the photographer should have just let Emma eat her food while others said it looked like a 'cruise photo opp'.

It comes after Emma revealed that she ate a whopping '60 Portuguese tarts' as her character Bella Baxter in acclaimed film, Poor Things.

The Oscar winner discussed the movie at a Celebration of the Nominees for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures panel in L.A. on Saturday, per People.

During the conversation, she listed out some of the complexities of the role, such as, 'Figuring out how to walk or eat 60 Portuguese tarts, which the first bite is delicious, but by the end you really want to puke.'

'Or her seeing death and decay for the first time, much more challenging than the nudity, which is the only thing people want to seem to ask me about.'

The topic came up when Stone was asked if it was difficult to play 'an explicitly sexual character,' and she replied that it 'wasn't.'

'The sexuality of Bella was another part of that, and the way that that was going to be shot and how we were going to do it and our incredible intimacy coordinator and our closed sets and all of that.'

Emma further continued that, 'In some ways, that was the easiest part because that was choreographed. Those were quick. We knew exactly what we were doing.'

The star portrayed Bella in the movie which was released late last year in December and directed by Yorgos Lanthimos.

Aside from Stone, other stars that were cast in the critically-acclaimed project included Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley and Ramy Youssef.

Along with taking on the leading role in Poor Things, the actress was also notably a producer.

Emma recently opened up about stepping behind the camera for the task and admitted that she had been surprised by, 'how many agents you have to talk to,' per Deadline.

'Whoa, it is very interesting to be on the other side of it now. It's a lot. Agents are great, but whew.'
