Artist Statement
Hi my name is Rachel Juanita-Clark Bellamy. As an artist, I sign my art Rachel Juanita, as a tribute to both my mother who named me Rachel after a strong woman on her favorite soap opera and my deceased grandmother whose name was Juanita. One of her last requests was that I would share my gifts with the world. My art is my gift to you. My hope and prayer with each piece is to help create art for your sanctuary--both for your home and your heart. Art for me is a place of transformative expression. A safe place to express the full range of human emotions. I hope that as you look at my art, you invite the art to speak to you and invite it into your sacred space--the sanctuary of your home and your heart.

About the Artist
I live a colorful and full life. My friends and family affectionately call me Queen, as that was my father's nickname for me. I live in the Washington DC metro area with my best friend and husband and our five kids. My husband and I own and lead an industry recognized and INC 5000 Cyber Security company, TIME Systems. I am a proud Army veteran and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. I have always felt called to serve others which led me to Regent University where I earned a Masters of Divinity and Georgetown University to earn an Executive Leadership Coaching certification. Art balances my full plate. Art is my self care, my freedom of expression, my soul in color. My art heals, restores, and transforms me with every paint stroke or soul mark expressed.
