Hi, I’m Rachel!

I’ve been an artist and crafter for years. I took art classes when I was younger, and I always seem to have some form of creative hobby on the go. I live in Alberta, Canada where it gets so cold that your eyelashes freeze (send help). I’m a mom to an incredible kidlet, have a small zoo of animals (dog, cat, snake) and juggle my creative pursuits with my fulltime job.

When I’m not doing any of the aforementioned activities or caring for the aforementioned dependents (which is rare), you can find me playing TTRPGs, creating an endless number of characters that I will probably never get to play, reading a good book, playing the piano or harp, destroying enemies in Tiny Tina’s Wonderland and Baldur’s Gate 3, or consuming infinite cups of coffee and chai lattes.

A few years ago, a friend of mine asked if I would be interested in playing D&D with their group. I created my first character, bought dice from Amazon, and started playing. However, I quickly tired of factory dice and went looking for something more unique. That’s when I stumbled upon the handmade dice world and was hooked immediately. After a few months of admiring the art form, I discovered the magic that is Khöpper Dice. I received one of the DIY dice kits that Kat sold that Christmas, and I fell down a rabbit hole that I have yet to escape!

I cannot begin to explain the euphoria I feel seeing my creations in the hands of others and being told that I’ve inspired another creator. Making dice has forever changed my life. I will always be grateful for the people who have purchased my art, the friendships I’ve formed, and the community we’ve cultivated.
