Satus Dignus Child Rescue Initiative (SDCRI), a non-profit, non-governmental organisation, committed to rescuing children from the streets in Nigeria requests your kind support to purchase the property it currently occupies which has been put on the market for sale by the owners.

We have worked with about 50 children since 2017, with 17 children currently fully resident in the center. Others have either graduated on their own or have been reunited with their families. At least 6 of our wards have been representing Oyo State on the National Youth Chess championship for the past five years and were part of the team that won the last National championship for Oyo State. Two of them represented Nigeria at the African Youth Championship in Ghana in 2021. One of our wards is now awaiting admission into the university, three are in senior secondary school at the prestigious Government College Ibadan, four of them are sitting for the junior secondary exams this year and the others are at different levels in school and training.

The property we currently rent in Ibadan has been put on the market for sale and we intend to buy it to ensure that we can continue to do what we do. Besides being centrally located and providing easy access for citizens to bring street children for our care, the size and design are ideal for the work we do.

With the approval of the Board, we, therefore, solicit your financial support for the sum of Fifty Five Million Naira (Eur 100,000) we need to purchase the property for the organisation. The first instalment of Twenty Million Naira is due for payment on 31 May 2023 and the balance before the end of December 2023. With your support, we can ensure that our work continues to provide education, health care, and a safe haven for these and many more children now and for many more years to come.
