Since the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown, Yakima youth have been working to provide essential supplies to the homeless community in the city. As of now, more than one hundred people are receiving food and hygiene supplies through monetary and supplies donation but we would like to keep the momentum going.
This GoFundMe will be the general fund for Yakima Community Aid, the group that rose out of this small project. We will be using the funds for care package supplies which include food, drink, shower and cleaning supplies, etc.
The volunteers within Yakima Community Aid believe that it's the community's job to protect, support, and assist those within the community. We are grateful for any support you can offer.
