Camille’s son died by suicide only a few months after his 16th birthday. That devastating event was compounded three months later when Camille also took her own life.  She was simply unable to cope with the prospect of a life without her precious child.

Camille was a loving and much loved person. She worked hard, lived life to the full and volunteered for causes she cared about. She had worked as a volunteer for Suicide Awareness and Prevention for many years and following Ethan's death she was determined to raise as much money as possible for Papyrus.

PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide is the UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people.

We wish that Camille could be with us to raise money as we had planned, but as her family and loved ones we are determined that this cause that Camille was so committed to will get as much support as we can muster.

It will bring some small amount of comfort to us to see a positive difference coming out of this devastating double tragedy.

Friends and family will be organising and taking part in events throughout 2023 to continue raising funds and this page will remain open for as long as possible.
