Amanda Bynes Placed on Psychiatric Hold After Roaming Streets Naked (Report)

Amanda Bynes is currently under psychiatric hold.

The 36-year-old former Amanda Show actress called 911 on herself while walking around the streets of Los Angeles naked, according to a new report.

An eyewitness told TMZ that Amanda flagged down a car early Sunday (March 19) without any clothes on, telling the driver she was coming down from a psychotic episode.

She was then taken to a nearby police station where a mental health expert determined she needed to be placed on a 5150 hold. She now remains in a facility’s care.

The 5150 hold typically lasts for 72 hours, but can be extended if needed. An attorney did not respond to comment to Page Six as the story broke.

She was set to attend ’90s Con over the weekend, which she backed out of at the last minute.

Amanda Bynes‘ conservatorship was terminated by a judge one year ago. Her mother was her conservator starting back in 2013, following a bipolar disorder diagnosis and several incidents, including setting a neighbor’s driveway on fire.
