Louisville Metro is investing to resell dilapidated homes across the city in an effort to rebuild properties with help from Louisville residents.
The Metro Council is currently joining the Landbank Authority, which seeks out properties around Louisville to buy and resell to those in the community looking to fix them. Some properties go for as little as $1 in some cases.
The Council will put up $750,000 to help buy properties around Louisville in order to get them refurbished.
However, according to an email from Caitlin Bowling, the Communications Manager for the Cabinet For Economic Development, the homes listed below are only some of the homes sought out by the council for renovation.
