Martin Perhiniak released a video/documentary two weeks ago that takes a deep look at #AI and #GenerativeArt. From ethical platforms from #Adobe Firefly and iStock by Getty Images & NVIDIA to unethical data scraping platforms such as Midjourney. He talks about Data Laundering as well as shares interviews from people such as Jon Lam (from Riot Games), Henning Sanden & Morten Jaeger (co-founders of FlippedNormals), Steven Zapata, Bobby Chiu, Patrick Brown and Ben Zhao (Professor of Computer Science). You also get quotes and clips from Lois van Baale (who I interviewed years ago for Photoshop Creative Magazine), Josiah Brooks (YouTuber Jazza) and @Sam Yang (YouTuber SamDoes Art). You also get quotes from Adobe's VP/General Counsel and Chief Trust Officer Dana Rao in relation to copyright. FYI, Adobe is really going for the most ethical AI model out there, and it rocks. The video mentions that Adobe has an AI ethics program that revolves around three principles: Accountability, Responsibility and Transparency. I think many companies fail when it comes to influencer marketing. 1. They do not fully research the influencer. It is important to see if the influencer matches your audience. Also, marketers tend to look at the influencers with largest numbers without checking to see if the influencer had organic growth or bought their followers. 2. A campaign should not be a one night stand so to speak. If you nuture the relationship then you will create a brand loyalist over time. There are many ways to do this. 3. Some marketers do not provide the influencer with all the relevant information about the product or brand. I work in Marketing/PR... but I am an influencer for several creative tech and software brands. So I have the benefit of understanding things on both sides of the fence. Some brands really do well at maintaining relationships with their influencers while others simply miss out on evolving the relationship.
