Esports has its own Cinderella stories. For the third time in a row, we were able to qualify for the Counter-Strike Major. In Copenhagen, the best teams in the world will compete for one of the most prestigious trophies in esports. Last year we were able to battle up until the Grand Final of the Paris Major, where we played in front of 20,000 esports fans in the Accor Arena and over a million people watching online via livestream. This year nevertheless we were struggling. We came really close in the Last Chance Qualifier European Regional Major Ranking Decider match against 9Pandas but just missed out on qualifying. Then, 9Pandas ran into visa issues and couldn’t make it and we were set as the replacement team. With the chance to compete in Copenhagen, we’re eager to make an impact and do our fans proud. Our first match at the first Counter-Strike 2 Major in Copenhagen is against AMKAL on March 17th at 3:00 PM CET. We look forward to the support of our community as we embark on this unexpected journey to compete on the world stage.

Top 3 in Age of Empires II once again 👑 In an exhilarating display of skill and #strategy, our player TaToH showcased his determination throughout the intense final match of the Warlords II #tournament against Hera. Although the victory slipped away this time, his outstanding performance and resilience in the face of tough competition earned him a well-deserved second place. The semifinals were no less thrilling, with TaToH engaging in a legendary clash against his teammate, TheViper, setting the stage for an unforgettable showdown. TheViper secured a remarkable third place with a decisive 3:0 victory against Yo who dominated the group stage, resulting in GamerLegion claiming the second and third place of Warlords II. GamerLegion x BKK·VBU: The Gaming Workshop in our Gaming House 🏠 Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting a #workshop in our Gaming House in #Berlin in collaboration with our excellent #partner, BKK VBU. Five lucky winners of our contest participated and were allowed to bring a friend. They not only learned new skills in League of Legends but also understood the importance of a balanced #diet in professional sports. 🏥 BKK VBU, our health partner, welcomed the winners with a brief introduction. Our partner explained how they support our E-Sports teams with performance catering and the benefits they offer as a health insurance provider. 🎮 Our workshop participants had the rare opportunity to enjoy coaching sessions in League of Legends. Under the guidance of professional coaching, they could elevate their gameplay to a new level. 🍽️ During the performance catering, our participants got to experience how professionals eat. An experienced chef was available for questions and ensured the participants felt like our GamerLegion pros. After all, proper nutrition is the key to top performance. 🎯 The second coaching session in League of Legends provided even more tactics and strategy, allowing our participants to deepen their knowledge. 🏆 The highlight of the day was the thrilling 2 vs. 2 tournament, where the winning team received two GamerLegion jerseys – congratulations! The magnificent world of Age of Empires 2 in one YouTube channel 🌍 Considering that there are already two sequels to this more than 20-year-old #game, and it's still being played competitively, it truly shows the uniqueness of this title. This classic real-time #strategy game has gathered a substantial and dedicated fanbase right from the start, with some of the professional players achieving legendary status. Our legends, Ørjan "TheViper" Larsen, Darko "DauT" Dautovic, Marco "JorDan_AoE" Bloch, and Roberto "TaToH" Jiménez, have not only been active for countless years and have won nearly every major tournament, but they also actively engage with the community. Sharing the same passion as fans, we launched the "Town Center" podcast around six months ago. Every month, TheViper and our host Masmorra discuss the latest news about Age of Empires 2, ranging from in-game content to developments in the competitive scene. With up to 60,000 views, the conversations have been extremely well-received by our community and the Age of Empires 2 community at large. Truth be told, we were somewhat surprised by the success this classic game can still generate. This is why, about three weeks ago, we established our own Age-focused channel, providing the community with a space solely dedicated to their beloved game. GamerLegion is home to the top players in Tekken 7 and Age of Empires 2 🥳 It’s been an incredibly successful week for our #Tekken Pro Tetsu and our Age of Empires squad. Competing in Tekken Clash, Testu literally fought his way to the top and managed to beat his opponent Sephiblack to secure victory. Not only did he emerge victorious, but his performance also propelled him to the top of the DACH leaderboard, a prestigious position that grants him entry into the European Tekken Cup finals. Meanwhile, TaToH and TheViper showcased their impressive APM (Actions Per Minute) at the T90 Titans League, claiming second and third place in the Age of Empires 2 tournament. After being forced to compete against each other in the semifinals only one had the chance to play in the final. Just like many times before, Hera and TheViper faced off against each other but this time Hera came out on top. Having two players collecting silver and bronze makes us immensely proud.
