Skeletal muscle is highly plastic and its properties can be modified under varying conditions. BDNF and NT-4/5 are neurotrophic factors that are thought to be involved in the adaptation of the neuromuscular system to increased activity. This study investigates the effects on various bouts of exercise on BDNF and NT-4/5 levels.
