For Visitors Who Are Blind or Partially Sighted

Take part in verbal imaging and touch tours as well as art workshops for kids, teens, and adults.

Touch Collection
Examine through touch a wide range of objects—from a first-century Roman marble foot to a twentieth-century Eskimo sculpture of a mother and child. Touch Collection sessions are available to blind or partially sighted visitors of all ages, individually or in groups.

Verbal Imaging Tours
Experience the permanent collection or exhibitions with a guide who describes works of art in great detail.

Guided Touch Tours
Explore works of art through touch in the Museum's galleries, including ancient Roman and Egyptian sculpture and American architecture. A Museum educator leads the tour.
