KALAMAZOO, MI — The Ford Mustang driven by NASCAR’s Josh Bilicki will feature a bit of local flair to it when it races around the oval track at Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 in Brooklyn.
The No. 52 car driven by Bilicki will feature a Zeigler-sponsored wrap done up by Orion Biedrzycki of Hershy Designs, according to a news release from the Kalamazoo-based auto group.
Zeigler, which announced the sponsorship agreement earlier this week, will also be hosting a free meet and greet event with Bilicki from noon- 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 21 at Zeigler Motorsports, 5001 Park Circle Dr. in Kalamazoo. Fans will have opportunities for autographs, photos and a chance to win tickets to the race the following day.
Bilicki, a driver on the Rick Ware Racing team, stands at No. 31 in the NASCAR Cup Series standings. Sunday’s race marks the second to last race of the season before the playoffs narrow the field to 16 drivers.
Sunday’s race is at 3 p.m. at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn. It is the 104th race in NASCAR Cup Series history hosted at the track.
