JORDAN CHARLES PRESENTS... QUEERDOS
For one night, The Apple Tree Pop-up will be home to the wacky, weird and wonderful side of London!
Gather round as our gloriously garish host, OEDIPUSSI REX ushers in a collection of the oddest acts you never knew you needed. Where else will you find Drag monsters, gothic goddesses and living London landmarks all in one place? This is cabaret...but not as you know it!
ABOUT THE PERFORMERS!
YOUR GLORIOUS HOST - OEDIPUSSI REX
Oedi is a beardy drag barbarian, with acts as wildly inconsistent as the Gods themselves. When not stomping around and yelling incoherently at passing geese, he can usually be found creating mighty bits of facial hair from stuff found in a skip. Oedi also runs Phantasmaglorious - a monthly queer cabaret Gameshow at Matchstick Piehouse (Deptford).
MYNXIE
Professional goth MYNXIE is a firm staple on the London drag scene, bringing raucous performances & DJ sets to queer parties for the past seveRal years. She has opened for a number of bands including Hatari, Wednesday 13, Amanda Palmer and many more. The creator of Horror Haus, MYNXIE can always be trusted to bring queer, dark, punk rock energy to the stage!
ELLA THE GREAT
Ella The Great has one aim and one aim only. To help you Join The Magic and Share the Laughter. They are an international Clown, based in London, who can be found on legendary stages and venues such as Soho House and The Cocoa Butter Club.
They are also known as the enchanting Richard Melanin The Third, an all-mighty king and gentle Clown, tip-toeing from the circus ring into exquisite drag king territory. Inviting audiences into a world of possibilities, where no two encounters are the same.”It’s magique".
BIG BEN
LITERALLY ICONIC. LITERALLY MONUMENTAL.
Bong bong bong bong bong.... It's fun o'clock, b*tches! Big Ben is 162 years young, 316 feet long and is a big clock. (Lorna Rose Treen @instalorns is a comedian, clown, cabaret performer and creator of Big Ben. One of Raze Collective's 2021 creators, and a graduate of Soho Theatre's plus lab and Ecole Philippe Gaulier)
