--In the wake of the Breaking, catastrophic amounts of casualties occurred across Ila, tearing the world in two; the mortal race was on the brink of extinction. If there's one thing mortals are good at, however, it's surviving. Eventually, colonies began to appear across the lands (now called Aatos and Lur respectively), and society once more began to rise. There is one other thing that mortals are often wont to be good at... and that, unfortunately, is forgetting. And oftentimes... it can prove very dangerous.-- Welcome to 'Through Hell or High Water'! This is a fantasy-based graphic novel series focused around a small group of unlikely companions who, through unseen outside forces, come together in order to try and stop the chaos of the Void from escaping its bindings and swallowing the Waking Realm into darkness for eternity. This story also focuses on the best and worst elements of the mortal race as a whole, and the grey areas that hold us all together through the beginning of the end. Ah, Humans.  The tried and true of Ila.  Humans are creatures of habit, and tend to dislike change.  They also have a bad habit of ignoring dangerous prophecies in favor of lining their pockets.
 
What you get with this tier:
 
- Access to sketches and early WIP's of pages and other art (as they come*)
 
- Answers to reader questions (that will be answered between pages/postings)
 
- Wallpapers!
 
*- Susceptible to change as ideas and pages come more freely as the story develops

Human Tier

Dwarves.  The tiny, hairy, stubborn and LOUD louts that they are.  Dwarves are hard, like the cold lands they dwell from, but if they deem you worthy of an alliance, they will treat it until the end of time... unless you betray that trust.  I wouldn't.  
 
And yes... the women have beards, too (IF they choose to keep them, of course.  Which... it's cold; I'd keep mine).

Dwarf Tier

Orcs are a pseudo-nomadic race.  While they do have cities and towns to house themselves in, many of them prefer to traverse the lands of Ila.  Reasons range from exploration and curiosity, to trade and historical study.
 
What you get with this tier:
 
- All of the previous tiers 
 
- Access to color flats of pages and other art (as they come*)
 
- Access to finished character busts

Orc Tier

Elves are an old race well-versed in magical arts and sorcery.  Due to their slow aging, some of the elders make it their life's work to research what shreds of history are left after The Breaking nearly a century prior.
 
What you get with this tier:
 
- All of the previous tiers
 
- Access to complete pages and other art at their full size (as they come*)

Elf Tier

An elusive group that tends to keep to themselves, the Faierikin are a race that, according to a vast majority of people in rural Lur, don't exist anymore.  The Enlightenment say that Faierikin are so connected to magic that they can turn themselves into dust and take over your minds, but THAT can't be true... can it?
 
What you get with this tier: 
 
- All of the previous tiers 
 
- Access to complete pages at their full size (uncensored and with no watermark!) a day in advance! 
 
- Access to complete pieces at their full size with no watermark 
 
- Access to maps, routes, character/race sheets, and other sorts of world-building things that help bring Ila to life
