Whitney Alese

Hi! My name is Whitney and I create a LOT of stuff. While I started my writing journey a long time ago (seriously guys, I wrote a short story that got me a full ride to University) the growth in my writing really happened when I started my blog (<a href="https://thereclaimed.blogspot.com" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">The Reclaimed</a>) 10 years ago. This blog led me to create a podcast, The Reclaimed Podcast in October of 2018, where I, a Black Girl, attempt to help the world do better, starting with, well, me. My latest foray into Beyoncé's internet is on TikTok (TheWokeMama) was created after I witnessed the prolific amount of bigotry promoted on that app. That community exploded, of which I am humbled and grateful. I love writing, recording, podcasting, but most of all, I love the community that has come from all of those efforts. You becoming a patron instantly makes you a part of that community. I operate all of my communities as safe spaces (unless folks get disrespectful. No safe spaces for hate) where questions can be asked, hard things can be navigated, and understanding can be gained. I deeply appreciate you being here and I thank you so much for your patronage!
