Hi Troublemakers! Welcome to the place where we practice joy and justice. Im thrilled you're here because the world can be crazy-making. And we all need a group of Troublemakers where we can learn, laugh, and celebrate the trouble we've caused.&nbsp; I'm Austin, a Black woman who has been engaged in this work for almost 20 years. I wrote a New York Times bestselling book called Im Still Here: Black dignity in a world made for whiteness. Ive also contributed to a couple anthologies and released a young readers version Im Still Here. And Im not done! Im working on the next book now, and it makes me so happy to share behind the scenes. But that's not it! We'll gather for virtual conversations once a month for our Trouble\Makers gathering where we spend an hour sharing about the various ways we are stirring up trouble and unpacking the current realities of race in America. We'll use the chat feature to cultivate our community, giving you a place to build relationships with those who are also asking hard questions and looking for nuanced answers. Since many of you found me via former twitter, Im thrilled to have this opportunity to connect with you in a similar but more intimate way. And, of course, we'll offer a weekly newsletter packed with musings, links, book recs and more. Your support here, helps me create more content as we pursue racial justice together. I have experienced when racial justice is hard, exhausting, and filled with drudgery. I've also experienced when the work of antiracism is creative, life-giving, generative and joyful. May this be a place where we all experience the regenerative hope of antiracism.&nbsp;
