Space.  I don't know a single plant lover who doesn't love The Martian, and the idea that our BOTANY POWERS might save lives on another planet.  The truth is that we're a long way from planting gardens on Mars... but there are clever people all around the world working on every aspect of growing plants in space. And the really exciting thing is that their work can also help us with some of the serious issues we face here on Earth, from how to feed a growing population to reducing our water usage and making agriculture more sustainable. Gardeners of the Galaxy is a podcast exploring the past, present and future of gardening on Earth... and beyond! Every week I spend 3+ days working on the show - researching, interviewing, writing, recording, the dreaded editing and trying to get the word out to as many Earthlings as possible.
