The Indy Pass is here to stay and as it unveils details for the 2022-23 season, partners with 82 independent ski resorts across five regions in North America and Japan. The Pass debuted in 2019 with 36 resort partners, just in time to offer a budget-friendly alternative to the mega passes — Ikon and Epic. While the price increased to $329 for more than160 days of skiing, it’s still a fantastic deal for the 2021-22 season. And good news, Indy Pass announced pricing for the 2022-23 season on March 2 and the price has not (👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼). Indy Pass is also offering a Switch pass for those who have a mega pass (Epic, Ikon, and Mountain Collective) for the 2021-2022 season.
Indy Pass 2022-23 Details
The Indy Pass will again start at $279 for adults for 2022-23, with the Indy+ Pass (no blackout dates) selling for $379. Returning passholders will be eligible for a 10% discount.
Switch Pass Details: For a limited time (thru May 17th), skiers who currently hold an Epic, Ikon, or Mountain Collective Pass can purchase next season's Indy Pass for just $259, or $359 for the Indy+ Pass. Find all of the details on the Indy Spring Pass and next year's pass options here.

Indy Pass Spring pass sales began March 1. For $189, adults can ski through April 30th with 2 days access to 82 resorts. Plus, Indy Spring Pass holders will receive a 10% discount on 2022-23 passes. As resorts that participate in mega passes feel more corporate, crowds grow and daily lift tickets surge to record levels, ($229 per day at Vail and Deer Valley and $245 for Steamboat on weekends!) independent resorts are thriving. Our team has visited many of them and though most Indy Pass partners are smaller, local ski areas; a good number of them pack a punch terrain-wise. Plus, it's hard to rival the culture and soul of these destinations.
Here are 9 reasons why you should consider skiing at independent ski resorts using an Indy Pass:
