Are you ready to learn about the Middle East through a three-course dinner? theCOMMONS has partnered with Na Projects Group together with Click-Aroi project under Asylum Access Thailand to raise awareness for the global refugee crisis. This monthly dinner is a chance to learn about different cultures and the ongoing refugee crisis through homemade meals prepared by your Palestinian refugee hosts. After costs, your donations enable them to afford housing, food, and necessities.

theCOMMONS และ Na Projects Group ร่วมกับ โครงการ Click-Aroi ภายใต้ Asylum Access Thailand ร่วมกันจัด Monthly Refugee Dinner ขึ้นมาเพื่อสร้างเสริมความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับวิกฤตผู้ลี้ภัยโลก โดยดินเนอร์เดือนนี้คุณจะได้ทานอาหารตะวันออกกลางจากฝีมือการปรุงของผู้ลี้ภัยชาวปาเลสไตน์ และ จะได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างผ่านดินเนอร์ 3 คอร์ส รายได้หลังจากหักค่าใช้จ่ายจะมอบให้ผู้ลี้ภัยเพื่อนำไปใช้จ่ายในชีวิตประจำวัน

On the Menu:

Starters:

Hummus: A Middle Eastern dip of chickpeas, lemon, garlic, olive oil, tahini, & spices. (Vegan)
Pita Bread: A Mediterranean flatbread pocket made with wheat flour, yeast, & salt. (Vegan)
Fattoush Salad: A salad of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, parsley, pomegranate, & pita. (Vegan)
Dolma: Grape leaves stuffed with beef, potatoes, rice, spices, olive oil, lemon, & cinnamon.

Mains:

Musakhan: This traditional dish features chicken, spices, caramelized onions, pine nuts, & pita.
Kibbeh: Small, savory balls made from beef, pine nuts, raisins, bulgur wheat, onion, & spices.
Potato Curry: A fragrant blend of chicken, potatoes, & spices.

Dessert:

Baklava: This flaky pastry has honeyed layers of pistachio, phyllo dough, eggs, & cinnamon.

*Dietary Restriction: Please note that some dishes may contain meat, peanuts, nuts, gluten, etc. If you have food restrictions or allergies, study our menu and contact us with any questions before booking. We offer some vegetarian and vegan dishes, but we are unable to create a separate plant-based menu. Thank you for understanding.

About Your Hosts:
Since 2005, your host family has faced many challenges to find safety. As Palestinians, they endured economic hardship in their homeland and were forced to relocate. This included dangerous journeys to Iraq, Syria, Cyprus, and Turkey before seeking asylum in Thailand in 2013. Despite many hardships, they made ends meet. Now, they await resettlement with the Click-Aroi project and Asylum Access Thailand. Thank you for supporting our Monthly Refugee Dinners and helping this important cause.
