Gwyneth Paltrow is expanding her empire. The Goop founder has partnered with Audible to create the Goop Pursuit, a four-part podcast series that will explore topics including pleasure, healing, beauty, and change.

“We’re curious about so many different topics at Goop, and we get to explore a lot of them in some form, whether that’s via a researched article on our site, an interview with an expert on The Goop Podcast, a live conversation at one of our wellness summits, our TV series, or a Goop press book,” Paltrow tells Vanity Fair. “But these were four overarching topics—pleasure and sex, finding beauty, how we navigate major life changes, how we begin to heal in a sick society—that we were interested in delving deeper into. And we wanted to explore them through narrative and through the power of true storytelling.”

To thoroughly explore these subjects, Paltrow has enlisted four different hosts to lend their insight and expertise and create what she calls a “stand-alone and intimate narrative experience,” guided by innovators in each field.

In Leaning Into Pleasure, Penda N’diaye leads a multigenerational discussion on pleasure, examining how it is experienced, what hinders it, and how our desires can be fully expressed. Over the course of 90 minutes, N’diaye, the founder of Pro Hoe, a brand focused on sexual liberation in Black and brown communities, also speaks with Paltrow about navigating pleasure in a society marred by taboos.

“I loved speaking with and, even more so, listening to N’diaye—she’s so strong and thoughtful,” Paltrow says of their conversation.

The three other features in the Goop Pursuit include Healing in a Sick Society, hosted by psychiatrist Dr. Will Siu, MD; Finding Beauty, hosted by author and LGBTQAI activist Jodie Patterson; and Coming Home to Yourself, hosted by Dr. Thema S. Bryant, PhD, president-elect of the American Psychological Association and clinical psychologist.

“We’re excited to share their stories, voices, and perspectives,” says Paltrow.

The Goop Pursuit collection debuts January 12, 2023.
