ROCKFORD (WREX) —  Yash Musabji, a local film entrepreneur known for helping youth start their own podcasts and film businesses, is releasing his first visual album at the Nordolf Center. A project that has been in the works for the last five years.

"I think it will inspire people to chase after their dreams and to not take no for an answer," Musabji said.

"Just take the risk. I took tons of risks for this project... I had like 50 dollars in my pocket when I first started."

At the age of 2, he immigrated from Gujarat, India to the U.S.. He was on a mission to follow his dreams, no matter how difficult. Opening his own creative and podcast studio, he started creating projects and providing content for businesses and leaders in the Stateline community.

Musabji also offers his services for free to organizations like Youth Build, a non - profit that provides business aid to youth students.

The visual album follows a young man who was in an accident ending up in a coma, eventually going on a journey through his flashbacks through some of his most intense memories.

Almost an hour long, the visual album premiere will take place October 21st at the Nordlof Center, 118 N Main St, Rockford. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.. Admission is free for the general public, and VIP tickets cost $60.
