Dalinghaus Construction

My experience with this team/company has been nothing short of perfect. We have dealt with foundation issues in the past and have had clients and buyers use and get quotes from other foundation companies. These guys are the best we've encountered and their pricing was absolutely the best. Lots of companies BS their way through quotes, talk a lot about other projects, and don't give firm answers. Not Dalinghaus.

To start the process Mark came out and assessed our situation. He was thorough and only referenced MY project and wasn't long winded (which I found confusing and a sales tactic from other companies). He only stated the facts and his thoughts. He was also a fantastic point man through scheduling and payment and the while the work was being performed.

They also appear to have a full team at the office so no call goes unanswered. Everyone has their role and truly knows their role.

Lesley - Scheduling - Was incredibly efficient and got us scheduled right when we needed it.

Gail - Payments - Incredibly flexible (and patient) on how I was paying. I wanted to break this up on a lower credit credit card (best points) so I needed to break the payments up over 4 days which she patiently accepted.

Ryan and his crew - Communicative, clean on site, and patient. We had demo going on at the same time and they never once complained about the noise or having to walk around trailers and other crews. Their work is solid and the house is now level.

Icing on the cake? Not only was their price better than the other quotes we received but they decided, with their engineer, than one of the items suggested didn't need to be done with the condition of the foundation. They removed this aspect and my bill went down INCREDIBLY. It was refreshing to know they could have made much more money but instead did right by their client.

Highly, highly recommend. On previous projects we've had foundation quotes that are astronomical. These guys made the foundation work not seem overwhelming. Can't recommend enough!

I contacted Dalinghaus regarding a retaining wall that started leaning due to a crack in it that gotten worse from the rain.
Mark Cook was right on time. He discussed with me my options which was to do Carbon Wrap along the crack. In addition, he proposed installing JetFilters at the bottom of the wall to help with the water drainage.
The proposal was emailed to me on the same day.Talk about efficiency.
Every time I call him for any question he would answer the phone or text me with the answer.
Mark is very professional and knowledgeable.
My husband decided on replacing the wall instead of fixing it since it's an old wall anyway.
Unfortunately Dalinghaus don't build new walls but they fix them.
If I need any foundation repairs in the future I will call Dalinghaus in a heartbeat.

I would not recommend Dalinghaus Construction to anyone who wants the work to be done professionally. Their work is not guaranteed. Please read "Contract exclusions" very carefully. They safeguard themselves so if they damage your home, they are not responsible. We were unfortunately forced to use them for a chimney repair from the previous owner we bought our home. They damaged our roof and promptly sent over their contract exclusions. Our roof is now leaking after their chimney repair. We were told that they are not responsible since they covered themselves with exclusions. So now we have to spend more money to pay for something that Dalinghaus damaged and isn't going to fix. Avoid them at all costs if you don't want to pay for their shoddy work.

My home's floor was feeling quite bouncy so I reached out to Dalinghaus. The great experience started with Brian and his inspection/recommendation, followed up by the 2 fantastic crews. Ryan, Jose, and Will did an excellent job adding support to my floors and patching a crack in my foundation. No more bounce! And then Stephen and Daniel came in with a deep foam injection to prevent my house from sinking further. They were all super friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent at what they do. Highly recommend!

I am so glad I drove past Mark a few weeks ago. I needed 4 pins for the corner of my house. Mark came out and gave me a quote and explained what was needed. Fast forward a little bit James and Dillon arrive on time and were super friendly. They got started right away and finished in 2 days rather than 3. These guys were incredible they took such pride in their work and left the place spotless. Dillon and James both took time to answer all my questions and show me each step of the job. I'm super grateful for not only James, Dillon, and Mark but the entire team at Dalinghaus I worked with to get this job started and finished. I highly recommend at least letting them come give you a quote.

Honest and professional.

For a long time, I was suspecting problem with my house foundation because of uneven floors. So I called Dalinghaus for an evaluation. Brian came out and did a throughout measurement, told me that there's nothing I should worry about. Explained to me what the probable cause of the unevenness. What a relieve I felt! And what an honest company! They don't prey on the homeowner's emotion and stress and sell you anything you don't need. Call them for a free evaluation if you're a worried homeowner like me. I wish I'd called earlier.

Everyone from Dalinghaus was punctual and responsive, from Brian who initially crawled under my house to provide an estimate and later fielded my questions about the process, to Lesley and Jamie who handled the project and financial coordination in the office, and finally to the great, friendly, hardworking crew of Ryan, Jose and Will who spent an entire day under the 70-year-old house retrofitting for earthquakes - leaving the workplace spotless upon completion. Then Ryan drove back the long distance to meet the City Inspector the next day. It was amazingly well-organized and coordinated: signed the agreement on November 27 and it was all completed by December 29, in record time. They were competitively priced and worked with me to meet my needs. Couldn't be more pleased!
