BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! Google them and you'll see there is currently a LAWSUIT against this company for FRAUDULENT FINANCIAL PRACTICES and use of medications in their injections that are apparently NOT FDA APPROVED! And the person who owns/ runs the QC Kinetix in Boise, Benjamin Rippey, isn't even a doctor or medical professional, yet he comes in to your appointment, acting as if he is the doctor.....it is weird. If you Google his name, nothing comes up related to medicine, there is no information about him, no training, education, or credentials to be found. He is not a doctor, but a shady business man trying to rob ailing patients of their money by taking advantage of their desperation to try and find some pain relief.
I went in for an initial consult a few weeks ago, and I was turned off by their pushy behavior. The owner, Benjamin, (who I thought was the doctor) came in and tried to get me to commit to an injection right then at this initial consult (and this was BEFORE anything about cost was mentioned). He definitely wanted me to commit to starting treatment right then and there, nevermind the fact that he was going to charge me over $10,000 for treatment (which insurance does not cover, so this is ALL out of pocket). He never mentioned the price before telling me I should just go ahead and start right then. And even after I said I wasn't ready to start anything, he quickly rushed me to the front desk and had me fill out all kinds of paperwork on financial qualifications, and consent forms so they would be all ready when I did decide to do it. It was VERY pushy, rushed, presumptive, and unprofessional! I felt scammed evn though I never committed or signed up for anything.
Look up other reviews on this company BESIDES GOOGLE......there are several negative reviews on BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, as well as other trusted sites, so do your homework!!! I am hoping to warn any potential customers about their shady business practices and suggest you seriously check out history and extensive patient reviews on this company!!!!!Helpful 2Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 0 - Deborah A.Boise, ID191Apr 19, 2023
I admit I was optimistic after my first visit with Ben at QC Kinetics in Boise ID. I have bone-on-bone arthritis in my ankle, had run out of options, and was desperate to avoid surgery. He told me that, while there was no guarantee of a total recovery, he said with confidence "I think we can help you" and felt "very sure" they'd provide some measurable improvement, and even could help avoid surgery.
9 months and 8k later...nothing. It's clear my condition was too far advanced to be touched by anything they could do. This is completely on me, but I wish I'd asked that they do an xray before we started; perhaps this would have provided a basis for a more informed, and honest, evaluation and final decision.
I truly do hope there's others out there that will have better results than I did. I will say the staff was pretty niceHelpful 4Thanks 2Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marita K.Boise, ID04Jul 18, 2023
Save your money!!!!!!! 9 months, $11,000 later and going backwards on both thumbs and shoulders.
They did not look at MRI, or ex-rays, saying even bone on bone situations were successful; didn't need full reports.
Consultation to determine being a good candidate a joke; everyone is a good candidate in their eyes. People are very personable; most con artists are.
I was told: "I have not seen less than 70% improvement". This statement tipped me over the edge to use a Care Credit card; they received ALL money up front (I have not had a loan on 20 years). Later they backpedaled w/ "70-80% of patients see improvement", a totally different statement which is also a lie.
Synchrony Card Credit has NO positive reviews. Calling several times, only getting a call center, I could not get name, number or email for a manager. Snail mail generated an automatic letter.
Phlebotomists were awful, sticking me up to 4x, once suggesting going through my neck or groin.
I expressed my dismay at last appointment to find they had changed their protocol.
They offered me one more treatment.
I asked for 50% refund - "we cannot refund for treatments already received"--this came from the owner who later offered me $1500 not to come back for the "free" treatment offered.
This is a free standing franchise; there is no standard to be maintained. No communication between franchises.
My guess: even those who find some relief, it is short lived & surgery is put off a year or so.
This place deserves a negative 10.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 2 - Kim P.Folsom, CA144May 3, 2023

I DO NOT recommend QC Kinetix-Boise. I do recommend that you do your diligence research on stem cell implants. I'm sure that some people had success with this process, however I did not receive any benefit from it. The owner, Benjamin Rippey was so sure that the process would help me he "would do it again for me on his dime". He now denies ever saying that because I misunderstood him. "The treatment is too expensive ($7500) I can't afford to do that ". I have discovered that other patients were told the same thing and he denied them as well. This man has no scruples or integrity. He will tell you anything you want to hear to get you to sign on the dotted line to start the process. I am 77 yrs old with severe arthritis in my right shoulder. I'm trying to avoid shoulder surgery. After trying several different alternatives, I responded to a radio advertisement. I did not do any research before going into the office to meet with Ben. Since then I have done a lot of research. The majority of people having success is by replacing stem cells into an injured joint (not arthritis). They are usually under 50 yrs. The older you are the fewer stem cells you have to regenerate. The greatest success is taking place in Columbia and Panama where they have clinics that can do more extensive treatments (embryos) not allowed in the US. Many athletes have gone to these clinics with injuries and have received positive results.
AGAIN DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. GET ANY PROMISES OF RESULTS IN WRITING. DO NOT TRUST BEN "RIPOFF " RIPPEY.Helpful 5Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0
