I should have been suspicious when there was no medical exam or evaluation, and I never met with a doctor during the initial consultation. Just a sales person who offered a $1000 discount off of the $9000 fee for treatment for my severely arthritic left hip if I signed up and had my first treatment now.
Let me make this crystal clear: these clinics are FRANCHISES, just like Taco Bell and McDonald's. The owners are not required to be licensed in any way, and all of the providers are contracted and not actually employees. Of course, I didn't find this out until later. I'm trying to save other people from the same mistakes that I made.
Anyway, I was in constant pain and walking with the aid of a walker. I was depressed because of the pain that was getting worse and had been consistent for over 6 months. When you are in that frame of mind, you make stupid decisions and mistakes because you would do anything for pain relief.
QC Kinetics is in the business of selling hope and the possibility of a miracle cure.
I ended up having a hip replacement and it was magnificent. Instant pain relief. I could have saved myself $8000 and 6 months of agony, but I was not thinking clearly.
Interesting thing, the orthopedic surgeon said my femoral ball had TOTALLY collapsed and there was no blood flow in the joint. How would stem cells regenerate in than environment?
I asked him if the situation would have presented itself if there had been X-rays or any professional medical examination. Absolutely, was his response.
QCK has refused any refund and has stopped responding to my calls and emails.
Do yourself a favor and get treatment from a doctor who you trust. Save the time and money, not to mention the pain, because this is experimental and not guaranteed to work, even though I was told that they had never had a patient that eventually got a joint replacement. Well, they can't say that truthfully anymore.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
